Donation protected
In 2016, I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and thyroid cancer.
If it were not for the tumor, I would not be asking for donations. I would continue to fight my thyroid cancer naturally as have been. Unfortunately, the brain tumor (meningioma) is rapidly growing and running out of room. It is located behind my left eye. I feel pressure behind my left eye and the tumor has already pushed it out two millimeters so time is of the essence. The neurosurgeon tells me that radiation is the only option I have to treat it and that it will only shrink temporarily. Possible risks with radiation include tissue/nerve damage. There are some vital structures in that cavity and I would really like to avoid this option if possible.
Dale and I have researched treatments available (alternative and conventional) and, after much prayer, feel a peace about pursuing the treatments offered at Hope4Cancer in Mexico. It involves a 3 week stay, 2 "big gun" treatments along with MANY(over 200) supportive therapies, diagnostic testing, medication/supplements for while I am there and for continued use at home and a machine to bring home, food and lodging for me and a support companion, follow up visits and more. This is NOT a 3 week stay at some luxury resort but INTENSE therapy (with some not so fun treatments) that will be continued at home for the next year. I will go back for follow-up visits at 3 months and 6-9 months. The cost indicated includes follow-up visits at the clinic but does not cover travel expenses. I am hoping to be able to go to Mexico as soon as possible.
This clinic truly does offer great hope and I will be very grateful for any donations received. However, I want you to know that ultimately my hope is in God. I am not afraid. I know that I can completely trust God with the outcome....whatever that looks like. I am human and have emotions to work through, but I know my God is faithful and will give me the grace I need to walk through this difficult trial. I covet your prayers for my family and me! Thank you to all my friends and family who have already given me so much support through encouragement, action and prayer. I am humbled and overwhelmed by your response and love for me!
