Healing for Jack
Hey everyone! Meet Jack.
Jack means God is Merciful ♥️ Vet says he is between 3-4 months old as he still has all of his baby teeth.
Will and I arrived home Tuesday morning7/7 around 8:30a after being out of town since Thursday 7/2 for the holiday weekend. When we pulled up to our house, we noticed this sweet boy laying alone in the road. At the sight of him alone, I was brought to tears. We live at a dead end in a heavily wooded area, so we instantly felt he was dropped off. After checking our gate camera, Jack had been intentionally left at our dead end on Saturday 7/4 at 12:55p and left to suffer or worst. We are currently working with authorities using this video footage to seek justice for Jack!
In the meantime, we are fully committed to loving this sweet baby back to health and an amazing life. He is eaten alive with mange that covers his entire body, malnourished, and being treated for other various infections associated with his condition. More details to come as the lab processes tests. He will be receiving two mange baths at the vet each week, so far he’s on 5 medications, science diet puppy food, and will begin receiving his puppy shots/spay & neuter once the vet feels he is healthy enough. He’s being treated at Creedmoor Road Animal Hospital in Raleigh - we have a wonderful team to see this sweet boy to health!
As we work through this journey, any donations that exceed Jack’s immediate care will be handed over to Saving Grace in Wake Forest, NC.
