For all the times I have pledged on gofundme, never did I see myself setting one up for a special friend. I always thought "it happens to other people." Well, today I am asking for a helping hand for my friend Heidi. As a young, fit female, mother of 2 in her 40's, Heidi found herself at the Dr. with what she thought was a "female" discomfort in her abdomen. After some testing and a colonoscopy, she was given the news no one wants to hear "you have colon cancer, and it has spread". Heidi started chemo and after almost 8 rounds, the tumors on her liver have shrunk significantly! However, 2 months ago her disability ran out and we are in need of funds to continue the healing journey she is on. Funds will be used for co-pays for chemo, prescriptions, organic food, rent, and transporation to and from USCF which is a 4 hour round trip. Heidi has a beautiful family and they are very supportive in every way, however, they too are running out of funds. Thank you in advance for your donation, kindness, blessings and prayers. For we know all things work together for good. Even as you read this, God has his hand in Heidi's healing through her Dr.s and all of you. Never again will I say "it only happens to other people"
Be blessed, and tell someone you love them, just because you can
