Healing for Hannah
Donation protected

For the past 9 months Jared and his family have been going through an incredibly difficult experience with his youngest daughter Hannah’s health. 9 months ago his daughter Hannah was a healthy young teenager who is now on a feeding tube and is in such dire condition she cannot even walk. For months they have been trying to figure out what is wrong and have even searched outside the US for anyone that can help their little girl. They finally found a Dr who thinks they know what is happening, so they are hopeful after many attempts to find out what is wrong. She has been diagnosed with NUTCRACKER and POTS syndrome. Her situation is so dire they were told recently if they didn’t get this surgery (assuming it all works) it would be lethal. She is wheelchair bound and hasn’t been able to eat for months. The surgery will require a kidney transplant, removing her gal bladder and appendix. His wife has had to take a leave from work to be home and care for her 24/7 (her friends at work even donated PTO to help her but that is all exhausted because she had to take the last month off). She is out of PTO leave and will not be able to go back to work for a long time (even if this surgery goes perfectly) because Hannah will not be able to do anything on her own. If it goes flawlessly, Hannah will be in the ICU a few days, then in the hospital for 10 days or so and then a long recovery. She will have to relearn how to do almost everything, including learning to walk. She hasn’t even been able to eat for months. It has been an enormous burden on the their family. Jared is so humble that he hasn't said anything. But loosing 1/2 their income, as well as incurring a lot of medical expenses with no end in sight, is so trying and difficult. Please donate what you can. All donations regardless of size will be greatly appreciated!!
