I am 34 years of age. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at age 13 . At age 29, my Kidneys failed and I was placed on dialysis. In the past three weeks, I underwent open-heart surgery to replace the aortic valve leaking blood severely into my lungs.

 

I am recovering now and being treated for the bacteria that attacked my heart. Once I have fully recovered, I will receive a pancreas and kidney transplant.
