Healing for Baby Abraham
Meet Abraham Jawaneh. He's three months old, totally adorable--and in need of heart surgery as soon as humanly possible.
Abraham suffers from a ventricular septal defect, basically a hole in the wall of the heart separating his left and right ventricles. It keeps his heart from pumping blood efficiently, meaning his oxygen and nutrient supply to his body is poor.
The good news is that surgery for this is readily available in any developed country and the problem is easily correctable.
The bad news is, his family lives in the Gambia on the west coast of Africa and is extremely poor.
Our Mission: Get this sweet little boy and his parents to Spain where the surgery can be done. They have already got the airfare covered. All we need to do is cover the cost of the operation and housing for his family: a total of $3000.
If everybody reading this just kicks in a few bucks we can get this kid on his way to a healed heart and whole new life ahead of him in a few hours. Please: help baby Abraham get the surgery he badly needs!
Thanks so much for your generosity!
