Hello everyone!
This GoFundMe is to help a service member who's family back home has fallen on unfortunate times. To have respect for the service member and his family, they have asked that I not use any names, but tell the story.
On December 16th, a service member received the news that his father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The service member has been making monthly trips to Texas to visit his father and had a planned trip on March 14th. On March 3rd at 7 AM, he received a call from his mother that she does not think his father is going to make it very much longer. Without hesitation, the service member immediately started to drive the route from California to Texas. On March 3rd at midnight, he received the news that his father had passed while en route to see him.
Since her husband being diagnosed with cancer, the mother fell very behind with bills due to taking care of her husband. She was not able to attend work, thus creating debt.
I am hoping that this GoFundMe helps the family to lessen the stress during this hard time. ALL MONEY will go towards the service members mother to cover past due bills, medical expenses, and any other thing she needs to get through this somber time.
