Healing Beyond Pain - Gungor's Journey of Hope

FROM EUTHANASIA TO EXTRAORDINARY HEALING:
A DOCUMENTARY OF HOPE

Over 1.5 billion people worldwide live with chronic pain. [1]. More than 600,000 die each year from opioid-related overdoses. [2].

Please watch the film trailer:

After six decades of unbearable pain, countless failed treatments and an addiction to prescribed opioids, Güngör Buzot begged her children for euthanasia. She believed that was the only solution, because all the doctors told her that there was no treatment for her condition.

She was wrong.
I am Betsey Beaven, documentary filmmaker and homeopathic educator, and I am working to bring Güngör’s extraordinary transformation to the millions who desperately need to hear it. Her journey from the brink of euthanasia to complete healing through homeopathy, self-love, and a spiritual awakening proves that hope exists even when conventional medicine says there is none left.

This Story Could Save Lives
Right now, someone like Güngör is lying in a hospital bed, convinced they have run out of options. Someone is contemplating ending their pain permanently because they do not know that healing—real, lasting healing—might still be possible.

Our documentary, inspired by Güngör’s award-winning book I Was Dying, Then I Changed My Mind, will reach these people. It will show them what is possible when we expand our understanding of healing beyond pharmaceuticals and surgery.

We have a narrow window to capture this story.
This fall, we are scheduled to film Dr. Andre Saine, one of the world's foremost homeopathic pioneers, who will share his decades of expertise. We are coordinating with leading homeopathic practitioners throughout the United States, Güngör and her family in France and Turkey, and Dr. Saine in Montreal. Additional filming may be essential where the research calls for latitude.

Your investment will help fund our project’s goal of $65,000, including:
Complete filming of exclusive interviews with Dr. Saine and other homeopathic pioneers.

Intimate conversations with Güngör and her children about their transformation

Professional cinematography across the U.S., Canada, Turkey, and France

Post-production editing to create a documentary worthy of this remarkable story

Development of materials to secure theatrical and streaming distribution
