Long term missionaries, Jordan and Kendra Norris, are facing a new challenge, one they know they do not face alone. The Lord is their strength and their peace. Will you join them with financial support as they move forward with care for their unborn son's congenital heart condition? Kendra is 6 months pregnant and there are many medical and travel expenses ahead as they seek the appropriate care. Their sweet baby boy will need care both en utero and after he is born.
Their hope is in Christ and they know that the life of their unborn son is in His hands.
Will you consider partnering with them along this path?
Please keep them in your prayers, and, if you would like to donate, you may do so here.
A brief note from Kendra:
Our precious baby boy Norris. 6 months along in the womb as he prepares to make his entrance into this world in a few short months. I haven’t shared this news online yet, and sadly this is not the way we imagined doing it either.
In the past week our sweet boy has received the diagnosis of congenital heart disease. His heart, specifically the right side, has not formed as it should. The human body is amazing though and that tiny heart continues to pump away with all it’s might.
Doctors are very hopeful we’ll meet him on the other side of the womb, although his battle after is likely going to be a difficult one. He will face heart surgery or procedures within days of birth and likely multiple in his life to follow.
Obviously our hearts are heavy. We have moments where the fears and tears won‘t stop coming, and other moments full of hope and pushing forward to fight for our boy in any way we know how. For some it might seem like a strange thing to say in a time like this, but we continue to go back to the truth we believe, that God is good. A specific phrase we feel marks his life, no matter how long or short that life may be.
We are beyond thankful for all who are walking with us on this journey, as it just begins. We couldn’t do it without you... and we’re hopeful for our boy to know and love you one day as much as we do.
