Healing and returning Sandra to Climate Activism

Our friend and fellow climate activist, Sandra Clark, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Sandra has been hospitalized and will be receiving chemo treatments for at least the next 30 days. Her prognosis is hopeful but her health insurance has large deductibles.
We found out after creating this fundraiser that Sandra's deductible amounts and non-covered expenses will be far larger than we thought. So, we're increasing our goal to $15,000 which we hope may cover unreimbursed costs for the next few months or maybe through the end of the year.
Sandra is a key 350 Eugene leader and volunteer. She is an organizer, teacher, writer, and community builder. We miss her and hope she recovers soon. We are doing what we can to support her during this time and know that she is worried about the costs of her treatment. We need your help to allay that worry and reduce stress that could interfere with her treatment.
