Friends, I as well as many other people have been blessed by having a dear friend Like Taylor Grammer Englebert. She has no idea how many lives she has touched or how many people she is a blessing to. This Woman is a woman of God and she loves the Lord with all her heart and she is a servant to children and adults alike and she is involved in children's outreach. I am putting together a fundraiser for her to help aid her in her healing Process. She has given me permission to share with you her story and testimony. Taylor is a Mom to two Gorgeous litte boys and is a loving Wife to Zach Englebert, her and her husband got together at the young ages of 14, and 16. Zach knew Taylor would need a helpmate to support her on her healing Journey and he wanted to go through it with her being the great guy that he is. At the time they had no Idea how many Health problems would come her way. In 2019 Taylor and Zach had their second son and when he was six weeks old, Taylor Had her first of four First of four strokes. A blood clotting Disorder is what caused the first stroke. She also has POTS. Since then, Taylor has had to relearn to walk, run, sing, talk and play music all over again which was no easy Feat. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has helped her every step of the way. About a year go now In The begining of 2021, sickness returned with what was thought to be another stroke but it turned out to be another avenue of health issues. She Kept having Seizures and her head pain was debilitating. After weeks in and out of the Hospital, they discovered a new Diagnosis of Pseudo Tumor Cerebri. During the March of 2021, she had a shunt placed in her brain. This shunt was used to remove excess fluid from her brain to help prevent the seizures and to keep the pressure from getting too bad in her head. The Engleberts and the doctors thought that would be the answer to her healing process and that they all could move on. Since that shunt was placed in her brain, she has had five more surgeries. Two Months ago, the headaches returned and she lost some of her vision and the Englebert's began to realize her previous health issues had resurfaced. The Spinal Pressures began building back up and the Shunt is actually working the way its suppose to but it isn't working for Taylor. Her body is rejecting it. There is nothing wrong with the shunt, it is just treating the symptom which is (the fluid) but it isn't treating the cause of the fluid buildup. Taylor tried to keep doing treatments and things the doctors here recommended but her seizures have since then become constant, and her pain is too much to deal with sometimes. The Hospital has been home once again for the past few weeks. Birminghan has done everything they can to help treat this disease, but there isnt a team of doctors here in Birmingham that specializes in this disease that she has and Taylor has run out of options to stay here for treatment. John Hopkins and Cornell Hospitals are the only two hospitals with departments solely focused on this disease. So far Cornell has reached out and they are ready to take Taylor on as a patient and perform a life changing surgery. The Surgery she needs is called a Venus Sinus Stent. This surgery will fix the root of the problem and not the symptoms. The results from ohter surgeries with other patients have been successful and this is what ave Given, Taylor and Zac hope. I am asking for donations for them to help them with Housing while they are out of the state for treatment, Travel, and any time off that her husband will have to take off of work in order to help her heal. Please Pray God will align them with the best option and surgeon for Taylor.
