My daughter Ebonee McNiel was brutally murdered in front of her children by her ex boyfriend. He then set his sights on the children leaving one of them to jump out of a 2 story window to save herself. Ebonee left behind 6 grieving children ranging in age from 4 to 17 that are now all in my care. The children are traumatized and facing years of grief counseling for all 6, which is not covered by insurance. 4 of the 6 need tutoring because they are struggling to focus in school. On top of all that and the general expenses of raising six kids, I am incurring thousands in legal fees to obtain custody and keep all six kids together. Myself and the children now face a long road of emotional and financial challenges in the weeks, months, and years ahead. As we navigate this devastating time any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and allow us to focus on healing and being together.
