June 2014 my girlfriend and I moved west to Colorado. It was not easy to establish residency and find jobs, but overall the relocation was successful. I celebrated my 27th birthday in my new city with great new friends. Everything was going smoothly until about two weeks ago.  Just as we started making plans for our next road trip this summer, I discovered a lump on my neck. This happened so fast... One day I'm on the mountain shredding the snow and the next day I am hospitalized. I got the bad news on Thursday March 26 from the oncologist that I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma or Hodgkin's disease. I never thought that I would get cancer, but that's life. So here I am writing this for all the support I can get as I continue my healing journey full of LOVE. This is a tough time for us as we are both 1,800 miles away from our families. The last thing I need is pity, what would help me the most is financial support.  Your financial support will provide me the means to focus solely on healing and overcoming the big C, rather than concerning myself with paying bills and affording expensive organic food and supplements. We are brainwashed to believe that cancer is a death sentence and that our body does not have the means to take care of the problem on its' own. I believe that chemo is a quick fix, but not a long term solution to Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Even if I do go through with chemo, there is no guarantee that there will be a recurrence or I will develop a different kind of cancer. At that point, having already undergone one round of chemo, my options will be less effective and more dismal. The medical industry only gives you two options, chemo or radiation, sometimes both. Not to mention this could leave me infertile and require me to pay out of pocket to store my sperm. I have always trusted in the Earth and it's energy to solve medical ailments and I would be going against everything I believe in if I would to accept conventional treatment. I truly see this situation presented to me as a test of faith.
