Hello,

My name is Jennifer Vinson. On Sept 10th, my precious niece, Lauren Evans was life flighted to Grady Trauma/ICU , after being stabbed 14 times in the back and eyes by a longtime friend she was trying to help through a mental health crisis. She also has multiple defense lacerations on each hand.

We are thankful she is alive, and for the people placed in her path, who have gotten her this far. However, the road forward, both physically and emotionally, is going to be daunting and filled with financial challenges. The injuries to her eyes will be life altering and the emotional toll of what happened will be something she has to cope with for many years to come.
