On December 27th, 2019, my sister Rin tragically took her life and jumped off of the Golden Gate bridge. She was 22 years old.

This is one of the worst pieces of news that any family member could hear. It is a devastating loss. We miss her so much.

Unfortunately, my family and I are having trouble affording the expenses for a memorial and burial. We were able to have a cremation done and we would very much like to have a marker set in place for when her ashes are buried, so that she can be visited and remembered. This GoFundMe is to help with expenses for the marker and the plot.

Rin was such a blessing. We will all miss her silliness and her sweet dimpled smile. Life will not be the same without her.

Rin had a tough upbringing. She was transgender and spent 9 years in the foster care system. Our father died when she was just 8 years old. She loved watching Anime, learning Japanese, playing Dota, and learning to cook new recipes. She is survived by her mother and seven siblings.
