My 25 year old son Keith battled covid from mid October till November 10th.

Keith is my second oldest of 6 children. He succumbed to his illness after a horrific battle 11 days before his 26th birthday.

BiPAP, ventilator, Ecmo, chest tubes, collapsed lungs,ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome), hydropneumothorax, blood clots on his heart valve that dislodged and resulted in a pulmonary embolism, sepsis, fungal infection, proned multiple times, medically paralyzed, dialysis for kidney failure, eventual multiple organ failure,low blood pressure and eventual intercranial hemorrhage. 

He fought a hard battle. It was very hard to see him go through so much.

We had a lot of help from friends, family and community for funeral costs. I'm very grateful for the outpouring of love and support.

I have a little bit saved for his headstone but currently not enough to purchase it.
