Headstone for Jackie and baby Kevin

The strongest person in the world is a grieving mother that wakes up and keeps going every day. In the English language there are orphans and widows, but there is no word for the parent who loses a child. Tammy lives with the indescribable pain of losing her daughter and grandchildren to a horrific act of violence. She describes the daily tribulations of trying to grieve the loss of those closest to her and trying to find purpose and happiness in each day. Tammy’s daughter was her best friend, closest family member, and entire world. Being a grandmother brought Tammy a tremendous amount of joy and she explains feeling empty and alone without her daughter and grandson. Tammy describes an immense amount of guilt for not being able to save her daughter or being able to protect her. As a mother, Tammy wants to remember and honor her daughter and grandchildren with a beautiful headstone for Jackie, baby Kevin, and unborn baby.

Tammy states , “we had so many more things to do together, I truly miss them every day, they were my joy and happiness in life, he took that away from me and I miss them so so much. I will never get to meet my new grandson or watch baby Kevin grow up. This is the worst nightmare that could ever happen. Getting through it is one thing, it is never going to go away. Every day is hard. I could not believe someone could take away two beautiful souls. Most of all I want to honor Jackie and baby. People loved and cared about her and still do. They should still be here today”.

 

All money raised will be used to honor Jackie and baby with an engraved headstone costing no less than $6000.
