My name is SGT Devon Lord and I'm fundraising for the family of my fallen soldier. On April 2nd, 2020, SPC Efrain Avitia Jr passed away. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, none of his unit members were able to visit the gravesite. Several weeks ago when restrictions were lifted I was able to finally make the trip but what I found after an extensive search was an unmarked grave with some flowers and a flag. Due to unfortunate circumstances, his parents did not receive any of the benefits following his passing. His parents are struggling and have decided to get the headstone themselves but unfortunately have to put it on layaway for 6 months to be able to pay for it. Please support this cause to allow us to properly pay respects to our fallen brother.
