Headstone for David Ratliff

My dad, David Ratliff, was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need. He was always there for his family and friends, no matter what he had or didn’t have himself. Growing up, I could always count on him to show up when it mattered most, and he made sure everyone around him felt supported and cared for.

One of my favorite memories is calling my dad to ask if he would take me out of school early, and instead of just picking me up, he’d take me fishing. Those days on the water together meant everything to me and really showed how much he valued our time together. It’s moments like those that I miss the most and that truly capture his loving and adventurous spirit.

Right now, my family is trying to raise funds for a headstone to honor my dad’s memory. It’s just my grandmother and me, and the cost is more than we can manage on our own. My grandmother especially wants to give him a proper resting place, but it’s simply out of reach for her financially. Any support will help us give my dad the tribute he deserves and bring some peace to our family.
