To lose a child is every parent’s worst nightmare. That nightmare became a reality for my dear friends Chad & Sherri Jenkins on Saturday, June 29th when they lost their sweet boy, Cayden following a tragic drowning accident. Cayden was a special boy who loved to dance, smile, and laugh. He saw only the good in the world and that is exactly how we want him to be remembered.
Life insurance for your children is one of those things you sign up for, just in case. You don’t need much because it will never happen to you. Then it does and you’re left to pick up the pieces- tell your young sons their brother will never be coming home, plan a funeral service for the light of your life, choose the very last thing he will wear, the perfect words to describe how meaningful his life was to everyone he met in his tragically short 14 years of life, choose a final resting place, and a memorial as perfect as the love and laughter your sweet son brought the world.
