JOHN G. SCOTT HEADSTONE
Donation protected
Friends and Family, we are raising money for a Head Stone and plot for John, this is something he always wanted so he would be remembered. John Passed away April 21, 2024. John’s boisterous laugh and animated stories filled rooms wherever he went. There were three loves in John’s life: Love of Family, Love for Wrestling and Love of Alcoholics Anonymous.
As his sister I always felt his love through out my life. He worked to be a good son, brother, dad, and he was a Fabulous Uncle. Family was very important.
John loved wrestling, he competed as an athlete, a referee and as a coach. It led him to choose a life of service as a High School Art teacher, as it facilitated his participation in school sports. Some of his greatest moments in life were on a wrestling mat.
John always said “The fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous saved his life” He dedicated his life to living the steps and principles of AA sobriety. He was always there for anyone wanting to become sober, including myself.
I would like this headstone to represent AA and Wrestling, as Johnny would love in Eugene, Oregon.
