Help Mariam achieve her dream!

Hello, this is Mariam and this is her story:

I am Mariam and I am from Georgia. While standing in front of the Parliament during the protests to defend Georgia’s European future, I decided that I wanted to pursue my dream master’s degree at Tallinn University. Since then, my preparation for achieving this goal continued, once again, on Rustaveli Avenue amidst ongoing protests. Despite the harsh environment, I managed to pass the entrance requirements and was admitted to the master’s program “Educational innovation and Leadership” at Tallinn University.

I have been working in the field of education for seven years. I have led numerous youth projects and youth empowerment programs were my primary focus. My master’s program is also focused on education. It pains me deeply to see the dire state of our education system. I believe that in order to shape the future of our country, education must be the top priority, problems which our society faces are rooted in issues within the education.

I am very proud to be among the students admitted with high scores. However, financial challenges still remain. Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs funded Georgian students education in Estonia, but unfortunately, this opportunity no longer exists. Due to the current political situation in Georgia, the chances for young people to study abroad have significantly decreased,many scholarships have been canceled or are no longer available. Therefore, the only option I have left is to ask for your support — every individual’s help will be a significant step toward making this dream come true.

My studies at Tallinn University will begin on August 27, 2025. Each semester’s tuition fee is €2100, making the total two-year tuition cost €8400. It is very difficult to manage this amount on my own, especially while I should also cover my living expenses.

Your support would mean the world to me.I have gone through a very difficult journey to get here , alongside fighting for the future of my country, I am fighting for my own future as well. I pour my heart out in this master’s program at Tallinn University.

I truly hope that with your help, I will be able to pursue my master’s degree and later use this knowledge to benefit my country - making education more accessible and dignified for every young person.
