Teammates, Friends, and Golden Knight Family...
During the early morning hours on October 30th, Gena Wasley received the phone call no mother could fathom. Gena's dearly loved son Dylan lost his life to a drunk driver on his way home from work.
Gena is the daughter of Mike and Judy Wasley. We lost Gena's Father and our Teammate Mike Wasley in 1973 during the plane crash in Silk Hope, NC.
SGM (R) James Kraft, Gena's step father, and also a Teammate, was Dylan's mentor and role model and definitely contributed to the confident professional young man Dylan was.
Dylan was working and excelling as a chef and specialized in taking care of his friends and making them laugh!
Gena is currently working training horses and will have to take some time away from work as the expenses pile up.
Gena could definitely use our support and would never ask.
