Sam was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer in January of 2023, less than a month after her 27th birthday. After undergoing a successful double mastectomy, Sam was informed that her case requires more extensive treatment. Shae and Tori have created this GoFundMe as a surprise for Sam to support her long journey of recovery ahead.

Sam is a ray of sunshine in every role of her life. She has impacted so many lives through being a teacher, sister, partner, coworker, best friend, aunt, daughter, and dog Mom. Every person who has the pleasure of meeting Sam is touched by her positivity, strength, and goofiness. One of the hardest parts of Sam’s journey has been her absence from work as a Preschool teacher. Her passion for education, creating a fun and inclusive classroom, and her dedication to her students’ development shines through every day at work. She cannot wait to be reunited with her students!
