The Gordoni family needs our support

Hi Everyone,

 

Susan Lovett and I decided to do a GoFundMe account for Don Gordoni and his family to help with medical bills and living expenses due to his ongoing medical issues. Below is his story...

 

I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. My prostate, as well as the nearby nerves and lymph nodes, were removed. I received 36 radiation treatments in 2021 and have had 44 tests since April of 2019. On March 15, 2022, I had surgery to restore function lost due to the previous surgery. My cancer is currently small but continues to grow. If it passes the concerning threshold in April tests, I will have to go into another round of treatment.

 

We have felt loved and cared for by family and friends throughout this process. We thank God that at present, we have less than $1000 in medical debt and $3000 in credit card debt. To get to this point, our savings has been depleated and we drive old vehicles. Our teens have to pay for their own expenses, but we have never wanted for any basic needs.

 

God has given me strength to work and participate in other activites (church, coaching, moving into town, visiting our kids, etc).

 

My wife, Lori, and some of our older kids have been at my side for most medical visits. Last week, all of the kids visited me during Spring Break, except for Kaylee who lives in India.

 

Many former classmates, work, and missionary friends check on me frequently and express their love and concern. (This includes you, Suzie and Susan)
