Today, my brother witnessed something that will stay with him forever.

As he was arriving home, he saw a stray dog walking along the road. Calm. Harmless. Just trying to survive another day. In that moment, a driver looking at his phone struck the dog and fled the scene without stopping.

My brother saw it happen.

The dog was left injured, limping, bleeding, and terrified. With no owner and nowhere to go, he would have been left there — but my brother couldn’t walk away.

He immediately took him to the vet.

Blood tests showed significant inflammation, and X-rays confirmed a fractured leg. The scans also revealed inflammation and a mass near the genital area, which now needs further investigation to determine whether it is something temporary or something more serious.

This dog is a stray.

No family.

No safety net.

So we became his.

He now needs urgent surgery to repair the fractured leg, followed by further tests and recovery care. Emergency veterinary treatment comes at a high cost, and we are asking for help to give this dog a chance he would never have had otherwise.
