"He survived from under the rubble... but he lost everything

On December 13, 2023, Mustafa's family home in Gaza was bombed.

That moment changed his life forever.

His mother, father, brothers, and sisters were killed.

He and his brother Mahmoud survived, but with injuries to his body no less profound than the injuries to his heart.

Mustafa was injured in his hand and underwent a platinum screw operation, while Mahmoud lost his wife and was left with his young son, Yazan, who is not yet one year old.

Today, Mustafa and Mahmoud are trying to rise from the rubble, body and soul, to raise Yazan, who has lost both his mother and father.

We are launching this campaign to help them secure treatment, shelter, and food, and to give Yazan a chance at a dignified life despite everything he has lost.
