He needs an eye surgery
Donation protected
My name is Alejandra, I love animals, many people know me because I have rescued several litters of kittens in the last three years, fortunately all of them have found their forever home, and two of these cats I had rescue are mine, with a third one I decided to adopt a few weeks ago . All this done with the greatest love in the world, because I can’t ignore and I can’t stand by and do nothing, but what it hurts me the most it is to see how the indifference of society has led many cats to live on the streets, sometimes with no chance to be love.
I came here now because I rescued two kittens two weeks ago in a really bad condition, they looked as they had a very bad cat flu, one of them almost blind because of this.
I did what it was in my power to catch them, it was a hard task, I came out with bites and several scratches but all this with only one purpose, be able to save them and take them to a vet to be treated, that day the doctor found that the sickest kitten with only 15 weeks old had a much more advanced infection that could affect his eyes permanently, in addition to this his tail was fractured and it could have been someone who did it.
We knew he will be strong and this will be his second chance to have a better life. It has not been an easy task but with a lot of love they have been recovering, one of them is already completely healed but the sickest is still fighting, we are giving him his antibiotics and applying the eye ointment cream and he still has not completely healed, the doctor recommended us to take him to an eye specialist in order to have a more specific answer of what would happen to his little eyes.
On Thursday 23 of May, after taking him with this specialist, they found that his left eye could recover over time and have between 70% to 80% of vision, while the right eye, due to the infection has a corneal perforation so the only option the doctor recommended was enucleation of the right eye, which means remove it by surgery so he can completely heal the infection and eliminate any pain and discomfort that he is suffering right now.
We are here asking for help for this little boy, the cost of this surgery could be around $1700 AUD. I know we can reach this amount for him for his recover, to give him a demostration of love that he deserves, for allowing him to live a better life, perhaps not with his two eyes, but at least with one that allows him to see the beauty of life, this little boy needs this surgery to fully recover, to stop the infection and pain.
Any donation no matter the amount, will help this kitten to have a better life and future and will make a world difference for him, so please even if you can’t afford to donate, help us sharing this with your friends and people you know could help us.
He needs someone to take care of him and I will be here until I can, he has been suffering so much and deserves a good family and a forever home.
Please contact me and share so we can reach every single person who really want to help him to fully recovery and have this surgery done soon, thank you very much for the support and God bless you all for your donation.
Regards,
Alejandra
