Hello everyone--Diane (Lynn) Morra here. I'm back with my second Camp Creek hoarder case in a year (just outside Springfield, OR) and it's another big one. This time there are about 20 indoor cats and 25 outside kittens and young adult cats according to local cat rescue who referred case to me for TNR (trap, neuter. return). I've been on furlough since October 1st after 20 years as part-time government worker, so I'm using this down time to tackle month long TNR project on my own. Here's what that involves: *Driving 50 miles round trip from Camp Creek to Greenhill Humane Society for each spay/neuter appointment (only two or three cats allowed each) *Dropping off cats day before and picking up fixed cats next day, depending on trap success. *Handling all trapping, cat food bait, transport and coordination myself. With winter on the way, I'm asking for little help with gas money, cat food bait, and drive time round trip so I can keep rescue effort going through my spay/neuter appts Oct 21st through Nov 18th.
