Hi! My name is Joyce Nimely, and I’m an international student at Berea College.

I’m raising funds on behalf of Hansel F. King, a fellow international student who has just been accepted into Berea College and recently had his U.S. student visa approved—a major hurdle and the hardest part of the process. However, due to financial constraints, Hansel is unable to afford a plane ticket to the United States.

Hansel is 18 years old and the first in his family to attend college. After losing his father, he has been living with his mother and eight siblings. Despite all odds, he has been accepted to one of the most competitive no-tuition colleges in the U.S.—Berea College, which has an international acceptance rate of just 36%.

Hansel dreams of studying Biomedical Science, but without a plane ticket, he will miss this life-changing opportunity. His arrival date is August 9th, and time is running out.

As an international student myself, I know how rare and precious this opportunity is. Berea has changed my life, and I don’t want Hansel to miss his chance.

Please consider donating to help Hansel make it to Berea. Every dollar brings him closer to his dream.

Thank you for your kindness and support!
