He Did It! My first-born son is graduating, and I am starting a fundraiser as a gift for my upcoming graduate, Jerome "Tripp" Whatley. He is an amazing kid, as many already know. He is an excellent big brother and role model to two younger siblings. Tripp is every parent's dream child because of the light he shines and the energy he radiates constantly. This past year has been one of huge transitions for him. Yet, through it all, he still managed to thrive both academically and athletically. This kid truly deserves it all! He's a scholar-athlete who has just accepted his invitation to the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). Furthermore, he is graduating from high school in two months and has been given a scholarship to play football at McPherson College in Kansas this upcoming fall!

I am fundraising to ensure that his graduation is an epic event for him, which is certainly well-earned and well-deserved! He has many activities he would like to participate in this summer, including going on a five-day cruise for his graduation trip! Any additional funds will go to decking out his dorm room and travel expenses to and from Kansas! Thank you to the village that has already supported my son since day 1! We have truly been blessed!!
