I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but our sweet dog Milo is fighting for his life. Milo recently underwent emergency surgery to remove part of his intestines due to a severe obstruction. While the surgery itself was successful, he has since developed a serious infection that his body hasn’t been able to fight on its own.

After monitoring him closely overnight, the veterinary team confirmed that his bloodwork is stable, but the infection is still present. They are now recommending a second surgery to locate and remove the source of the infection to give Milo the best possible chance at recovery. This procedure is critical, but it comes with another unexpected cost of several thousand dollars on top of what we’ve already paid.

Milo is such a loving, gentle soul and a huge part of our family. The vets would not recommend another surgery if they didn’t believe it could help him, and we want to do everything we can to give him that chance.
