Hi, my name is Talia, and I’m starting this gofundme for my dear “niece” Zelda and her mom (and my roommate and good friend of many years) Bri. Zelda is the sweetest, most gentle, and goofiest dog I’ve ever met. She instantly loves everyone she meets and loves to cuddle, go on car rides, run around with her sister, and play tug of war with her chew toys.

However, lately she has been very unwell. The vet has believes that she may either have IVDD (a spinal cord disorder that could result in paralysis if left untreated) or cancer. Zelda will need to do an MRI to clarify her diagnosis, and then would likely proceed immediately to surgery. Unfortunately, the MRI alone would cost $4,000, with an additional $9,000 for surgery. These costs are insurmountable to Zelda’s family, and there are no options for a payment plan.

Zelda is only 5 years old and could look forward to many more happy years if she is able to get treatment. She is also Bri’s heart and world. I love that little dog so much, and would be grateful for any amount that people are able/willing to donate so that our sweet girl can live the long and joyful life she deserves.
