HUSTLE & HEART - FEATURE FILM

Help Us Bring the Vibes to Life – And a Powerful Film to the Screen.
This summer, we’re creating more than just parties—we’re building a movement.
My name is Emmanuel Matanawui, a 16-year-old filmmaker balancing GCSEs while directing & writing a full feature film. Alongside a passionate team—including Adi Alfa and Eric Myers (multi-award-winning filmmakers), we’re bringing to life a powerful, emotional story called Hustle & Heart. But to get there, we’re doing things differently.
This July, we’re launching a series of unforgettable Afro-Caribbean inspired carnival-style events aimed at raising the funds needed to bring our vision to life.
- From vibey indoor club nights to outdoor summer link-ups, every event will help fund Hustle & Heart—a raw and gripping film that tells the story of Jaheim, a rising UK rapper torn between music, gang life, and mental health struggles.
This isn’t just a party, and this isn’t just a film.
It’s a platform for young creatives, a spotlight on mental health awareness, and a project that speaks to the real-life experiences of many unheard voices across the UK.
Why We Need Your Support?
- By supporting these events—through donations, tickets, or spreading the word—you’re helping us:
• Cover event production costs (venues, equipment, safety, promotion)
• Fund key parts of the film: camera hire, actors, crew, post-production
• Build a creative network that uplifts young Black British talent .
Be Part of Something Bigger
Every pound goes toward a double mission: bring joy this summer, and tell a story that could change lives.
Support the Hustle & Heart movement. Donate, attend, and share. Let’s party with purpose. Let’s create impact.
