My stepdad, Jamie was having unbearable headaches for several months and assumed it was nothing major. As the headaches got more severe his doctor suggested he get an MRI which showed a mass in his blood brain barrier. Jamie was then diagnosed with a Brain Blood Barrier Tumor Nov 4th, which caused an even bigger area of swelling, Edema, that that giving him such horrible headaches. He was admitted into the hospital to start treating the swelling on his brain that has caused his brain to shift by 3 cm. After his hospitalization, he received more imaging and was put on steroids. He has since followed up with his neurosurgeon and had December 27th. We appreciate everyone keep him in your prayers as well as the doctors, nurses, and surgeons.
