HDKI IRL Squad Fundraiser for GB championships
Donation protected
Hello from Squad HDKI Ireland,
We are reaching out to seek funding support for our squad. We are a group of like-minded Karateka who are passionate about improving our competition training and confidence. Our squad has been active since 2015 and consists of both children and adults at various levels of karate expertise. Once a month, we come together with HDKI clubs from all over Ireland, pushing each other to our limits.
Our goal is to travel to the UK in October to represent Ireland in the HDKI GB Open Championships. This prestigious event attracts clubs from across the UK and Europe. We believe that participation in such competitions is a tremendous opportunity for our students, providing a significant confidence boost to their self-esteem and self-worth.
To make this trip a reality for all our students, we need to raise funds to cover expenses such as flights, accommodation, and entry fees. While we strive to raise as much money as we can on our own, we also rely on the support of our community. We want to ensure that no student misses out due to financial difficulties at home.
In this regard, one of our students, Michael Smyth, has generously offered to undertake a sponsored walk covering a distance just short of 30 kilometers. This sponsored walk is intended to raise funds for our squad and contribute towards making our trip possible. We kindly request your support by sponsoring Michael and the few other students who will be participating in this walk on the 23rd of June.
Having taught and managed this squad for the past 7 years, I am incredibly proud of the commitment demonstrated by each and every student. It is heartening to witness their growth and dedication to karate.
We sincerely appreciate any support you can provide to help us achieve our goal. Your sponsorship will not only contribute to our squad's success but will also empower our students and foster their love for karate.
Yours in Karate
