Help PTC resurface its courts!

Donation protected

Dear Friends of Peninsula Tennis Club,

6/29 note: We're over half way there! To date we have collected over $30,000. Thanks for your help! Keep spreading the word.

Our courts were last resurfaced in 2004, at a cost of $41,000; this time it's going to cost between $60,000 and $70,000. FYI, Peninsula Tennis Club is operated for the City of San Diego, with no financial assistance from the City. Dues and court fees pay for its management and upkeep, but PTC has had to rely on the generosity of its members and the Peninsula community to pay for major projects like court resurfacing.

Besides its members, guests and students, PTC is the home of Point Loma High School boys and girls tennis teams, Ed Collins Tennis Academy, Bob Simmons' ladies clinics, the Warren Walker School team, in addition to regular overflow from USTA tournaments at the Barnes Center.

In addition to this GoFundMe campaign, PTC is hosting an auction, clinic and mixer. Your support, small or large, is greatly appreciated. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, make check payable to Greater San Diego Tennis Council, and send to Peninsula Tennis Club/2525 1/2 Bacon St/San Diego, CA 92107

Thanks in advance for supporting PTC and public park tennis!
