Dear ZMATA community and beyond, it saddens our hearts to have to share this news but as some of you may have heard, one of our long time students, Kali Girl, was recently involved in a car accident. During the accident Kali fractured the entire right side of her face and has a potential vision impairment to her right eye. After being hospitalized for approximately two weeks, and after undergoing surgery, Kali was allowed to return home. With both of her parents caring for her and being small business owners, Cynthia and Winston had to put work aside in order to give Kali the attention and care that she needs to recover as quickly as possible. We are trying to raise money to help the Sanchez family give Kali the care she needs while not having them have to fall into financial hardship. Any support and prayers are greatly appreciated.
