My name is Laura and I need assistance getting my car returned. It has been repossessed in the middle of the night. I need it to commute to my first job 5 days a week, and the trunk contains all my cleaning supplies for my 2nd job, housekeeping.

I want to say I've suddenly fallen on hard times, but I seem to be, and many of us seem to be, in a perpetual state of "hard times".

My savings has always been depleted as soon as it starts to grow. I didn't plan for a hurricane to wipe out my savings in Aug 2017, or to be hospitalized in Feb 2018, or for my mom to get cancer in Aug 2018, or for me to get cancer in 2019, or to move during Covid-19, or for my back injury to reduce my work hours in 2022. But that's what happens, I have an emergency just often enough to take everything I have and then some.

I could afford the payments 2018-2022.

I was starting to bounce back from my injury at the end of 2022, paying small car payments when I could, but under the minimum balance needed. It wasn't enough.

My mother and I both get paid on Wednesday Feb 22nd, but combining those two checks still isn't enough.

I would appreciate any help you could give during my time of need.
