My name is Michelle Onofre and this May I was devastated by a diagnosis of breast cancer. On August 7th I will be undergoing a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery… I'm a fighter ready for triumph in this battle! However the appointments, expenses, and time off work are and will be impacting my ability to pay the bills for at least a couple of months. I laid roots in Manhattan, Illinois over 45 years ago, and it would be tragic for the house, I have celebrated my life in, to be a casualty of this fight.

Any money donated will go to covering the bills and expenses associated with day to day life and being a homeowner: mortgage, utilities, insurance and the day to day cost of living.
