Arek's Wish

In January of 2018 my uncle Arek was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. His diagnosis was terminal, but he gathered all of his strength to fight his hardest fight. Arek went through every treatment possible with good days and bad ones, and with all of that still having the energy to smile and make his family feel better, telling us it will all work out and he is feeling good and taking the worries away. 

My uncle is a man who I have never seen get angry or say anything bad towards another person. He is always happy with such a calming energy around him. Through his entire fight his biggest worry has been to make sure his girls are going to be OK. Eliza (Arek's wife), Martyna and Pola (his daughters) are his world and they have been fighting next to him from that first terrifying day. Never giving up hope, because he has given us so many miracles in his fight and showing how strong he really is. 

My uncle is now coming to the end of his battle and his family is with him around the clock. Eliza has taken an unpaid leave from work to take care of Arek for most of 2019. I have started this fund to help ease the worries for my uncle and give a little of peace for his girls, so that he knows that they will be O.K.
