Hi there, if you’re new here, my name is Kristin and I’m starting this fundraiser for my mommy, Tonya Lynn. She was first diagnosed at 36 years old with stage 4 cancer. She then beat it and was in remission for 10 years when, just one day before Christmas on December 24th, 2024, the world stopped turning. For the second time in her short life, at just 47 years old, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. It’s flooded her entire body; it’s in her entire skeletal system. She started chemotherapy in January of 2025 to try and kick this thing once again. We thought she was doing so much better until her oncologist said her count was so low she wasn’t able to receive the treatment. A few weeks went by, and her levels came back up, and chemo continued. Fast forward to June 2025, and more bad news came. The chemo isn't working. Her oncologist doesn’t know what to do and has to go back to the drawing board. She can’t seem to catch a break. Ultimately, the decision was made to start the pill form of chemotherapy: 2 pills, two times a day, every single day from now on. This chemo is the strongest they have. So far, nothing has gotten worse, but her numbers haven’t gotten better. Towards the end of June, she started having very bad hip pains to where she could barely walk, only to find out there’s cancer there too, and chemo won’t help. So she’s starting radiation for that.

With all of this that she has had to endure in her life, my mommy deserves the world and more. She is a wife, a mommy to three, and a Grammy to 3 grandchildren. Being able to raise money for her so she doesn’t have to worry about all of the medical bills or wondering about buying groceries or putting gas in the car is my goal!
