Hi, my name is Katie, and I am raising funds to help my longtime family friends manage the costs of an unexpected out-of-state funeral service for their beautiful son Josh. Josh was tragically taken from this world and from his loving family last night at only fifteen. Josh was kind, independent, intelligent and full of a vibrance and humor that was truly unique, always marching to the beat of his own drum, literally and figuratively. He was active in band, loved sports and gaming, and anything outdoors. Unfortunately, Josh was fighting a battle no one knew, and he made a decision that cannot be undone. Josh lost his battle to depression, without warning or indication to his loving and involved family. Josh is leaving behind parents, step-parents, aunts and uncles, and loving siblings and friends. Due to the nature of his death and to ensure the privacy of my grieving friends, I’ve left his full name off this post. Anything you can give to help a grieving family manage this devastating tragedy and help bring this child and his family some peace is appreciated. Anything donated will be utilized for time off work, travel arrangements, funeral and celebration of life planning, and possible counseling for his grieving siblings.
