At that time, Mr. Penney was made aware of Penney associates that had come across hard times and were having financial difficulties. To date, the Foundation has distributed over five million dollars in assistance.The Foundation relies on donations from retired associates to help keep the Foundations financially healthy. During these times of various problems caused by COVID-19, we are experiencing a large increase of associates that are in need of assistance.
