Our sweet boy Mozzie was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with congestive heart failure after suffering a late night decompensation event early November '25. At the time his cardiologist gave him a prognosis of 1.5 years but today 1/16/26, they said he only has few months left without surgical intervention. He's been declining so much faster than anyone expected and the poor boy has been seeing his cardiologist every 2 weeks for ultrasound and bloodwork to make sure his heart medications aren't inducing kidney failure as well. We wanted to take him to Japan for open heart surgery but he won't make it past the quarantine period without additional intervention. Mozzie is currently a good candidate for left atrial decompression which will buy us some time but we desperately need assistance. His kidneys are starting to feel the burden and his once tiny heart has become so enlargened by this horrible disease. Please help save our little boy. He still has so much love to share in such trying times. Truly anything helps.
