The Vo Family

Last night our family suffered a terrible tragedy. I received a phone call that my parent’s and brother’s home was on fire and that the fire had engulfed their home. I raced to their house and from miles away I could see the flames in the night sky, I knew there could not have been much left. When I arrived on chaotic scene, my family watched helplessly as the firefighters did everything they could to put the fire out. The firefighter’s worked tirelessly to put out the fire, however the fire consumed my parents home entirely. The only thing they walked away with was the clothes on their backs. If you know them at any capacity you know that they are the first to give when others are in need. I can’t express the gratitude our family feels already with so many people who have reached out to show their support. These funds will help them with the immediate expenses they are facing from the fire. We don’t have the words in the English or Vietnamese language to express how thankful we are for our community.
