Donating my hair for the Little Princess Trust
Almost two years ago, I graduated from university—what felt like the start of a new chapter. But with that came the stress of job hunting, uncertainty, and a lot of anxiety. I noticed my hair falling more, and every time it happened, it was terrifying.
That experience made me think of the young children who lose their hair while facing something much more difficult—illness. For many, losing hair isn't just physical; it can take away part of their identity and confidence.
So I decided to grow my hair with one goal: to donate it to The Little Princess Trust. It was a scary decision—I’ve always had long hair—but knowing that my small act could help restore a child’s confidence made it so worth it.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who’ve lost their hair due to cancer or other conditions. They also fund life-saving research into childhood cancers.
If you’re able to support this cause, even a little, it would mean so much. Every donation helps bring comfort, confidence, and smiles to children who need it most. Thank you for being part of this journey.
