Help Marlene Fight Cancer

Hi, my name is Kaitlyne and I am fundraising for my Tia (Aunt) Marlene. If you know Marlene, you know she is a hard working woman who always put others before herself. She is an extremely joyful person to be around, always smiling, and making everyone around her feel her warmth. Her laugh is infectious to others and she has the most beautiful smile that makes you want to grin from ear to ear. At family events, you can catch her cracking jokes and enjoying a delicious plate of Portuguese food. She's a shoulder to cry on or just simply and ear who will listen. My Tia has always been there for me, so now I'm asking everyone who sees this post to help be there for her.

When you look up the definition of a fighter, a picture of my Tia Marlene should be there. Despite going through chemo and radiation treatments, she continues to show up for her two boys and husband day after day. She is an unyielding and determined person who does NOT step down from a battle. Most of all, she is an incredible mother to my two cousins, Mason and Jake. Those two boys light up her whole world and I know they think very highly of their mommy. She is a very important person in my life and the rest of my family's lives. Her battle against cancer breaks our hearts and we want to try to do everything we can to help her beat this.
