Helping Challenged Children, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) committed to enhancing the lives of mentally and physically challenged children throughout Indiana by providing financial assistance in securing durable medical equipment when other avenues have failed.
HCCI’s grants are offered as a last resort for the recipient. HCCI researches each case to ensure that all other possible sources of funding have been exhausted, then work to meet the needs of the child through gifting.
For the first time in the last ten years we have succeeded in granting out all of our funds raised from our annual charity event. This has left us with a 6 month gap in funding children. As such we are launching a gofundme to close that gap!
At this time we already have requests for over $4,000 in unfunded needs for children needing various durable medical equipment including adaptive trikes, communication devices, and sensory equipment, and the requests continue to come.
