Hi, my name is Aleida and I’m raising funds for my stepdad. My stepdad is an incredibly hardworking electrician who takes so much pride in providing for our family. Recently, his work equipment was stolen, the very tools he depends on to do his job. Without them, it’s nearly impossible for him to earn a living. Because of the fear surrounding recent ICE raids, he was too scared to report the theft, and now he’s left struggling to replace thousands of dollars’ worth of tools, while still paying off the ones he already owes. For someone who has always carried himself with pride and rarely asks for help, this is not easy for him to admit. I’m reaching out because right now, I know he can’t do this alone.
